Ace on the Deal Video Poker is a companion game to Deuce on the Deal video poker. Ace On The Deal offers a guaranteed Ace on every hand. You have to pay an extra coin to get this Ace, which evens out the odds from the greater odds of winning hands the wildcard confers.
Ace
on the Deal video poker plays like a game of
Double Double Bonus Poker. Added into the game is a certain ace in
every hand. The standard bet is 5 coins. If you choose to play the sixth
coin, you get an ace every hand. If you avoid playing the sixth coin,
then you're basically playing Double Double Bonus Poker.
Ace on the Deal is a relatively new game. It's only been marketed by Bally Games for a couple of years now. The game is supposed to appeal to players who enjoy a little more volatility in their video poker. You have to pay 20% per hand, but you also have a greater chance of scoring a top hand.
The royal flush hits twice as often as it would on a standard video poker machine. Four Aces appear 11 times as often as it does on the traditional machines. Combine this with the higher payoffs for these hands and Ace on the Deal Video Poker becomes a roller coaster ride of a game.
When you wager that sixth coin, you get more than just a guaranteed ace on Ace on The Deal. Players also receive better odds on three hand: the royal flush, the straight flush and 4 aces.
For a royal flush, the player wins 4,799x coins, while you only win 4000x on the 5-coin game. A straight flush pays 3,200 on a 6-coin bet, while it pays 2,000 coins on a 5-coin bet.
On four Aces, the 6-coin game pays 2,000 coins, while the 5-coin games pays off at only 800 coins per coin wagered.

This is one of those games where you get more money for holding a low card with your aces. That's always driven me crazy, because it forces players to make strange plays when hold two or three Aces with a low card (a 2, 3 or 4). Still, the Four Aces + Low Card hand is the best hand in the deck. It hits a whole lot more often than the royal flush, but pays two-thirds as much. If you're going to win a lot of money at Ace on the Deal video poker, the low card four aces hand is the one that's probably going to do it for you.
