Double Pay Poker is a video poker game that pays both on the deal and on the draw. Half of the coins you bet are paid on the results of the deal, while the other half are paid on the final hand. Basically, this is a hybrid stud/draw game.
This places a high premium on the first draw. The payoffs are much higher, paying off 12,000 to 1 instead of 800 to 1 for a royal flush. But you'll need a lot more luck playing stud poker.
The second part of this game has the standard payouts associated with most video poker games. If you've been reading the charts for the other games on this website, then it will look familiar to you.
This is a game for players who like a shot at a huge jackpot, but otherwise like conventional video poker. Every hand gives you a chance for a big payoff, but you'll get a chance at the conventional win. Be prepared to lose lots of money on the stud portion, though.
Double Pay comes in multiple variations. There are Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus and Triple Bonus games, as well as a Deuces Wild version. I have included the Double Bonus pay table, because it's the one you're most likely to find.
