Video Poker in the Wikipedia is a volunteer, collaboratively written encyclopedia article about video poker. The Wikipedia also features what looks like a reasonably complete list of video poker games.
The free video poker games at Video Poker Tactics are a good way to practice video poker strategy. Worth checking out.
Video Poker Genius is a new website I just found. It's way awesome. The site offers hand analyzers and math stuff for more video poker games than I can count, and it also offers strategy guides too.
Video Poker Tools is a cool new site with some interactive tools for different games. Lots of potential for more tools, and I hope they expand their site soon.
Video Poker Daddy is a new video poker guide that looks like it has a lot of potential. Lots of cool commentary on the different video poker games available online, and strategy info, book reviews, and software reviews round out this fairly low-advertising website about the king of casino games.
Slot Charts offers analyses of different progressive slot machines on the internet based on how often they hit, but also, they offer a section for the best progressive video poker opportunities online at any given time. He includes information like the name of the game, the size of the jackpot, and the expected return for that game with that jackpot when played with perfect strategy. This is one of my favorite sites on the internet.
Jacks or Better is a video poker site dedicated to one video poker game and one video poker game only. You can probably figure out which game based on the name of the site.
Gambling Tools offers a java based video poker analyzer which will compute a video poker game's expected return based on its payout schedule. You can also use this tool to calculate your risk of ruin and your bankroll requirements for a given game.
Bob Dancer offers strategy cards and books on strategy for sale on his site. Definitely worth checking out; I own every book he's written.
Jazbo's Video Poker & Gambling Information is a heavily information based website with charts and graphs galore. These include unique probability graphs and strategy sections for over a dozen different video poker games. The site is pleasantly light on advertising too.
Jeff Lotspiech's Video Poker Page is another "ad-lite" website with a ton of solid information about video poker on it. His passion for the game is obvious. The site includes strategies for six or seven different video poker variations, and also includes a video poker trainer. (Be sure to read our interview with Jeff Lotspiech too.)
Tunica Video Poker has a ton of great information for anyone who's planning to play video poker in Tunica. If you go to Tunica regularly for video poker, for whatever reason, then you owe it to yourself to get a membership to this site and take advantage of the info available here.
Video Poker Advisor is a new site with a clean design, easy to read, with a good little bit of video poker information. This is author Basil Nestor's video poker website. He's written nine books, including The Unofficial Guide to Casino Gambling.
Video Poker Help is another great informational site that includes the math for the hourly cost on different video poker games. The site also includes discussions of the odds and payout schedules for the different games.
Skip Hughes's Video Poker Site includes links to his other video poker sites; it's a "hub" of sorts to them. This is a membership site with a ton of info available to members. Worth checking out.
Video Poker Player focuses almost exclusively on the internet versions of video poker. The site includes all the basic information about how to play video poker, but it also details some of the online options for video poker games, like Microgaming, Playtech, and RTG.
Video Poker Review features an overview of some of the best places to play video poker in the southern part of the USA, including New Orleans, Gulfport, and Shreveport.
Bomis Video Poker offers another list of good video poker websites.
Video Poker 247 is a nice guide to video poker, covering rules and strategies, in a clear and concise manner. They also feature a nice video poker glossary.
Video Poker School - What's the cliche? Class is in session? This website includes a history of video poker, lots of tips and strategy, and plenty of suggestions for where to play online.
Slots Jam just launched a new video poker section that's worth checking out. They haven't finished adding their video poker content yet, but the webmaster is a friend of mine, and I'm sure the content there will be just as great as the content in the other sections of his website.
Steve Badger's Play Winning Poker is THE website for poker strategy and information. He focuses largely on thinking for yourself and avoiding "by the book" predictable play.
Poker Vibe is a new site showing a lot of promise. The site focuses on online poker sites, book reviews, and strategy tips.
Pagat.com is the best and most comprehensive site on the internet related to any kind of card games you can imagine. (Since video poker is at least partially based on a specific card game, Pagat is probably a worthwhile site to visit for at least some of the website traffic coming here.
Speaking of card games, there are several great free blackjack games you can play on this site. They're all Flash games from Microgaming, but they include descriptions of the games and how to play, and they usually include the odds too.
Shirley Rosario's Poker Babes has some great observations from a poker professional about various poker players.
If you're interested in online gambling, then this site covers just about everything you need to know on the subject, including casino reviews, bonuses and bonus codes, and information about progressive jackpots and live dealer casinos. The site also includes a tremendous amount of information about casino games, including video poker, and online casino banking methods.
Gambling US analyzes the relationship of luck versus skill in all kinds of gambling games, including video poker. Another site that is definitely worth checking out.
If you want to try playing normal poker online, then this site offers online poker reviews that are objective, concise, and interesting. They also offers poker strategy articles and a Texas Holdem odds calculator.

Video poker's closest gambling cousins are poker and slot machines. The poker site is one of the coolest online poker rooms on the web, and the slot machines site covers every online slot machine game you can possibly imagine. Both sites are highly recommended and worth visiting.
